Three Caffeinated Recipes You Can’t Live Without

If you follow us on Instagram then you know we partied all night while bingeing Stranger Things. We made it to 4:00 am on a few cups of Rogue Cocoa and our love of Steve Harrington. So if you were wondering if Rogue Cocoa works…it does.

As with any drink, the best part is all of the mixing and matching and flavor combinations. The great thing about this caffeinated hot chocolate is that you can make it how you like it! We tried a bunch of variations and we definitely want to hear how you like it.

We usually don’t use a full scoop for a classic mug. Depending on the day we’ll use just under one scoop per cup. This is totally your preference on how sweet and how much flavor you like in your hot chocolate.

We started out with plain hot water and a scoop of Rogue Cocoa. This is very rich and chocolaty. It’s almost a dark chocolate taste and doesn’t have the sweetness that our milk recipe has. So if you don’t have a sweet tooth and love dark chocolate, then the Rogue Cocoa water recipe is for you. Add a dash of cinnamon, ginger, or mint extract to flavor it up!

Our next test was the classic 2% hot milk with Rogue Cocoa. This definitely is sweet, creamy, and delicious! I added a tbsp of heavy cream and was in heaven. This would be perfect for breakfast on your way out the door with a bagel or muffin. Classic hot chocolate taste, but it will keep you energized all day.

While milk is classic and creamy, there are also delicious non-dairy options. Rogue Cocoa is dairy-free by nature, so we made a version with almond milk, a scoop of rogue cocoa, and a dash of cinnamon. This is more of a nutty taste and not as sweet as the full dairy milk version, but light and smooth, while still getting that energy you need!

These are just a few of the endless options for you! You can try versions with half milk and half water, half almond milk and half water, or full on half and half for a super creamy hot chocolate. It may take a few tries to find the recipe you like, but don’t give up! Rogue Cocoa itself is low in sugar and only has 20 calories, so really, your options are really endless!
